About Borregården
Borregården is an old farm with a unique history. The main building was built in 1889 and functioned as the poorhouse for Borrby. The cottage and the land were then used by the church for farming until early 1900’s. Thereafter the farm was used as a nursing home until it closed down in 1965.
The farm consists of the main building, a cottage and two barns. The farm is peacefully surrounded by lush fields and rolling hills. Right inside the gate you’ll find the cottage with the café on the ground floor, where the breakfast is served every morning. In the first floor there are two guest rooms. In the east barn you’ll find the Art Gallery & the Boutique with gift items and fabrics. A cozy family suite is also located in the east barn. In the main building (built in 1889) you’ll find most of the guest rooms, the dining room, the TV-room, and the library that is available for all the guests to use. |
